Dandenong valley SDS provides a special school that caters to the students with disabilities across an extensive area that includes Greater Dandenong, Casey and Cardinia. The school is situated in Narre Warren on grounds that are landscaped located within Fountain Gate Primary School and Fountain Gate Secondary College.

Dandenong Valley caters for approximately 200 students between the ages of pre-school and 18 and suffer from mild to severe intellectual disabilities. A bus service from door to door is offered through the Department of Education for most students.

The school was built for purpose in 1989.
